How to display japanese characters

Some parts of this site are written in japanese ideograms, or kanji. To visualize them, you have to install some additional packages to your operating system. You'll probably need the installation CD. If you can visualize correctly the following writing, everything is already ok! If you can only see boxes or question marks, then you don't have the required packages.
漢字は大丈夫よ!

Windows XP / 2003

I honestly don't know. Look for packages called *kochi* and let me know the solution.
